Summerhome in Vihterpalu

The client approached us with a desire to reduce the energy costs during the winter period in their year-round summer cottage. The main heating system used there is infrared radiators, and we added remote control capability to them so that the building could be heated based on need. We installed the Sol Fresh Premium 80, which provides ventilation to the building and helps combat moisture while also offering additional heating.

In the adjacent building, to keep moisture under control, we installed a Basic indoor unit with fans. Currently, an air-to-air heat pump is used there to maintain the minimum temperature during the winter period. Additionally, a greenhouse/glass outdoor terrace has been built for the building, which warms up in the sunlight. Although we couldn’t install a solar collector there, we take the warm air from the greenhouse and redirect it to the adjacent room to keep the humidity away and prevent the formation of mold.
